NW Minnesota chooses Becky Lourey
After aggressively searching for the signals of the kind of campaign activity that leads to victory, we are comfortable in announcing our prediction:
David slays Goliath in the Minnesota DFL's governor race. This is just what the party needs, as the Republican front runner has declined subsidies and refused to abide by spending limits. In this race in November, the DFL will be outclassed by the resources of the GOP, but if we are correct and Sen. Becky Lourey is the winner of the September 12th primary, the GOP will be outclassed by the resourcefulness of the Lourey campaign, which has succeeded in making "stone soup", pulling a rabbit out of trhe hat, and accomplishing what Buckminster Fuller called "ephemeralization"
A vote for Hatch will be a vote for Pawlenty in November.
Part of the basis for our decision making is this running tally of endorsements andvotes already cast in the September 12th primary for governor: September 12 Surprise
